The holiday weekend brought more than sunshine and celebration—it also marked the exciting kickoff of our first Farmers Market of the season! Bright and early on Saturday morning, vendors began rolling into Gazebo Corner Park just after 7:30 a.m., setting up their booths and preparing for a day full of fresh goods, friendly faces, and community connection.

Despite the heat and the hustle of a busy holiday weekend, vendors showed up with an impressive spread of locally made and grown products. The park came alive with color, scents, and activity as people began to browse the variety of offerings available.
Shoppers found everything from crisp garden vegetables and golden jars of local honey to soft, homemade cinnamon rolls, banana bread, and cookies that didn’t last long on the tables. There were fresh garden plants ready to be potted at home, bags of seasoned nuts for snacking, colorful handmade headbands, and countless other treasures waiting to be discovered.
The best part? Many of the vendors completely sold out! It was a great day not only for business but for building connections. With a light breeze rustling through the trees, music playing in the background, and smiles everywhere you looked, the Farmers Market buzzed with warmth and small-town joy.
If you missed this first event, don’t worry—there are plenty more to come! The Montpelier Farmers Market will be open every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. through October. Each week will bring a growing list of vendors and a fresh rotation of unique products, so every Saturday promises something new to enjoy.
