Montpelier was full of activities this past weekend. The Montpelier Community group held the annual trunk or treat to kick off the festivities. Local businesses, churches and individuals were lined up ready to pass out goodies. This has been the biggest year yet with an estimated 400 plus kids in attendance.

The Community Group has organized this event for the past ten years, but it would not be possible without the amazing participation and donations from our wonderful community members. This year a Car show was added into the mix.
Sunkissed Brew Salon hosted their very first car show alongside the trunk or treat. Local law enforcement and the Volunteer Fire Department were there with trucks, cars and lights. Showtime Dance Academy was there with spooky dancers to entertain the crowd as well.
Trick or treating hours for the city of Montpelier will be Thursday October 31st from 5-8. Next community event will be Hometown Christmas on December 7th; be on the lookout for more information.
