Since 1903, Montpelier has been the home of speed and excitement! Originally a 1/2 mile horse racing track, Montpelier Speedway is now a 1/4 mile banked oval that draws auto racers and fans from across the country.
A year ago, Ryan & Betsy Sutter started Milkman Promotions with a goal to bring racing action back to Montpelier. Now they are the new owners of Montpelier Speedway and excitement is at an all-time high! The team has done an excellent job making improvements to the facility, maximizing the fan and racer experience. Their events have included fireworks, bounce houses, laser light shows, bike giveaways and more – they even hosted a tractor pull this year!
Ryan, who has been racing here for over 15 years, always called Montpelier his favorite track and is excited about its tremendous potential. Talking to the Sutter family, it’s evident they have a passion for racing, a sincere appreciation for our community, and a big desire to Make Montpelier Great Again!
